Can dogs drink yakult?

I have been trying to get into my dogs diet, i know for a fact that they have sensitive tummies. This stuff makes me sick just thinking about it but i saw in someones diet that her dogs were drinking it, i am thinking of buying some as well, but i want to know if they can, if they will be ok with it, will they get dehydrated or any other issues. thanks,

I've been using it for my dogs for over 2 years. Yes, they drink it and so do the cats. They seem to get enough water, I guess not much (5L twice a day). I just use a simple electrolyte solution for them and they are fine. I usually take the electrolyte solution to work too.

Hi,

Do you have any suggestion on water conditioners? We have 2 small dogs and they love to drink from the floor and eat from the floor, we are working on them but not a great start.

We've used a water conditioner with our 2 dogs before, but we had to stop using it. Both of our dogs had skin irritation in one ear. We have not had any since I stopped using it.

I used the electrolyte one recommended on the website to replace their electrolytes. It's the first line I used. A friend of mine says they get sick when she tries to give her dog water, although she isn't sure if it's the solution or the water.

She says she usually just fills a bowl with water for her dog and she's fine. I was kind of worried she'd get sick, but I tried it and she was fine. It's a small dog (9 lbs) so I was a little worried she might get dehydrated or die, but she was fine. I think dogs have a higher tolerance than cats for dehydration.

The electrolyte solution from the site did work for me. We switched back to our old dog food because the formula they now have changed the ingredients. So much has happened over the last 6 months with our dogs. If you try the electrolyte solution from the site I would follow it with a new diet. You can also try supplementing the electrolytes. You may be better off with just supplementing them because you already have a new diet. I am thinking about a prescription diet right now for the first time.

We used the "new and improved" brand of water on our puppy for a few months and while she wasn't drinking all of it, she loved it. After 6 months of that she turned to the store brand. The water we now use in her food is almost identical to the store brand. We do make sure that she has a fresh water bottle and have even added in a couple of other flavors to try to get her to drink more. We use a water conditioner like she does. It has helped but I'm not sure she still likes it. She is currently 8 years old and weighs 22 pounds.

We used to have the same dog food with a slightly different name but discontinued it about 2 months ago when it started causing diarrhea and severe abdominal pn. We are now on a new food, that we love and has no such issues. The only problem I'm having now is that the dog is NOT drinking any water from the fountns at the park or the dogs are in the house. However she does like the water in her food, from a hose from the yard.

This is something that has bothered us for a long time. Our dog had the same issues. Our current food helps. She will now drink from our hose. She will drink from the water in a bowl, from a fountn or even from a bowl of water from a hose.

Dogs can't stand that chlorine smell that you often get in a water fountn. I put water in a bucket with a cover and use that instead. It works good.

You sd it was from your yard. Is it? What kind of water is it? My husband has a dog that also has the same thing with the fountns. The water in a bowl works just fine. It's the hose I can't figure out. He's really bad about drinking from the hose, but I don't have that problem.
